COMMUNITY SWAPS
Outgrown doesn't mean done.
Swap what your family has outgrown. Find what they need next. Or bring a Little Swaps Community Swap to your own neighborhood.
THE CIRCULAR PATH
Sell it. Swap it. Pass it on.
Not every outgrown item needs the same next step. Little Swaps gives families more than one way to keep kids' things moving.
Sell
List it in the Little Swaps marketplace and choose the exchange that works for you — shipping, meetup or a local Swap Spot.
Marketplace →Swap
Didn't sell it — or just want it gone? Bring it to a Community Swap and exchange what your family no longer needs for what comes next.
Community Swaps →Give
Still left? Help it continue on. Depending on the event, remaining items can be passed forward through local community or donation partners.

HOW A COMMUNITY SWAP WORKS
Bring a little. Find a little.
Each event may look a little different, but the idea stays simple: families bring useful kids' things back into circulation.
RSVP
Find a swap near you and check the event details, accepted items and any event-specific guidelines.
Bring what they've outgrown
Bring clean, gently loved kids' items that another family can actually use.
Shop the swap
Browse what other families brought and take home useful finds for the next stage.
Keep it moving
Items find another little life locally, and event leftovers can be routed forward when applicable.
THE VILLAGE, IN REAL LIFE
More than a pile of outgrown clothes.
Community Swaps bring together families, local businesses and things that still have plenty of life left in them.
BRING LITTLE SWAPS TO YOUR COMMUNITY
Know your neighborhood? Let's talk.
We're beginning to explore a community-led model for moms, parent groups, schools, family spaces and local organizers who want to bring a Little Swaps event to their area.
LITTLE SWAPS CAN PROVIDE
The system behind the swap.
- ✓Little Swaps event playbook + swap guidelines
- ✓Branded templates, signage and QR assets
- ✓Event / RSVP promotion framework
- ✓Venue, sponsor and local partner templates
- ✓Sorting, setup and leftover-item guidance
- ✓A repeatable format designed to get easier over time
YOU BRING THE LOCAL MAGIC
Community relationships we can't manufacture.
- ✓A local venue or relationship with a family-friendly space
- ✓Knowledge of the moms, families and groups in your area
- ✓Local promotion and day-of event leadership
- ✓A commitment to a welcoming, organized Little Swaps experience
This isn't a mass volunteer program. We're looking for a small number of motivated local partners so we can learn what a truly scalable Community Swap system should include.

WHY COMMUNITY SWAPS
The marketplace isn't the only way something finds its next little life.
Community Swaps create another path for items that don't sell, aren't worth listing, or simply need to move quickly — while helping Little Swaps build stronger local connections around families.
GOOD TO KNOW
Community Swap FAQs.
Are Little Swaps Community Swaps free?
Many Little Swaps swap experiences are designed to make exchanging kids' items easy and accessible. Always check the individual event page for the exact RSVP, participation and item guidelines for that event.
Do I have to sell my items in the app first?
No. The marketplace and Community Swaps are different ways to keep useful items circulating. You can choose the option that makes the most sense for you and the item.
What can I bring?
Accepted categories can vary by event. The event listing should explain what is being accepted, the expected condition and any limits before you arrive.
What happens to items left at the end?
The plan may vary by event and location. When a donation or community partner is part of the event, the event details can explain how remaining items will continue forward.
Can I organize a Little Swaps Community Swap myself?
We're beginning to explore a community-led model with a small number of local organizers and partners. Use the “Bring a Swap to My Community” form to tell us about your area, venue ideas and the community you already reach.
Do I need to own racks, baskets and event equipment?
Not necessarily. Equipment needs depend on the venue and event format. As we pilot community-led swaps, we're learning which pieces should be venue-provided, locally sourced or included in a standardized Little Swaps event kit.
THE NEXT LITTLE LIFE STARTS LOCALLY
