  • Little Swaps is a parent-to-parent marketplace for gently-loved kids’ items.
    You can list, shop, make offers, meet locally, or ship nationwide - all without sharing your address.

  • Any parent, caregiver, or trusted children’s consignment shop in the U.S. can join.
    If it’s for kids and in good condition, you’re welcome here.

  • No.
    You keep 100% of what you earn.
    (Only standard payment processing fees apply to shipped or Swap Spot orders.)

  • Yes, selected children’s consignment shops and boutiques are welcome.

    Many shops use Little Swaps to list their curated, high-quality pieces and parents love discovering them.

SELLING ON LITTLE SWAPS

  • How do I list an item?

    1. Snap a few clean photos

    2. Add a price or let our AI fill in the details for you.

    3. Choose Meetup, Swap Spot, or shipping

    4. Tap List

    Listing takes seconds.

  • Yes, tap any item in your profile to update photos, details, or price.

  • You can accept, decline, or counter-offer.
    If the buyer doesn’t check out in 48 hours, your item automatically becomes available again.

  • Bundle discounts are automatic.
    You choose the deal (like 10% off 2 items), and it applies at checkout.

    Some sellers also mark small items as “Bundle Only” when creating their listings. It’s great for $5–$8 pieces or siblings matching pieces.

    • Meetups: immediately (cash)

    • Swap Spots: paid through the app, once the buyer picks up the item

    • Shipping: paid through the app, after delivery is confirmed

      Payouts from the app are sent to your Stripe-connected bank account.

  • The buyer gets a full refund and the order is canceled. Multiple missed fulfillments can affect your seller rating, so be sure to drop off on time!

SHIPPING

  • When your item sells, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label.
    We work with all major carriers like USPS, UPS, and FedEx, so your package gets where it needs to go quickly and safely.

    You’ll have 3 business days to drop it off.

  • The buyer pays shipping like in any online purchase.

  • Yes, you’ll need to print the prepaid label. Most parents print at the shipping location chosen by the buyer.

  • Tracking updates automatically in the order view.

BUYING ON LITTLE SWAPS

  • All purchases happen inside the Little Swaps app.

    Tap “Buy Now” if you want a single item - quick and easy.

    Add to Cart (best for saving on shipping) when they’re from the same seller.
    If the item is eligible for offers or bundles, you’ll see the option on the listing.

  • It’s up to you:

    • Shipping for convenience

    • Local meetups for quick, cash-only exchanges

    • Swap Spots for safe, no-schedule-needed pickups

    Swap Spots are one of our favorite features, and we’re expanding them across the country.

  • Yes. Many sellers allow offers.
    Send your offer, and the seller can accept, decline, or counter.

    Offers expire in 48 hours if the buyer doesn’t complete checkout.

  • No.
    Even after the seller accepts, you still choose when to check out.

  • If a seller has bundle discounts, they apply automatically at checkout.
    Some items may be marked Bundle Only, meaning the seller prefers they be purchased with additional items.

  • You can open a dispute within 48 hours of receiving it.
    We’ll help resolve the issue quickly, and you will get refunded.

LOCAL MEETUPS

  • Local meetups work the same way parents already exchange items today - you meet in person and pay in cash.
    The difference is that all communication stays inside the Little Swaps app, so you never have to share your phone number or address.

    Choose a safe public spot, meet, and you’re done.

  • No.

    Meetups are cash-only between you and the seller.

    Everything else, messaging, photos, details, safety tips, stays in the app.

  • Yes.
    Everyone on Little Swaps is a verified parent.
    We use simple identity checks and secure sign-in so you always know you’re connecting with real parents, not strangers using fake profiles.

    It keeps meetups safer and the community trustworthy.

  • Sellers tap Mark as Sold to complete the order.

SWAP SPOTS (DROP-OFF LOCATIONS)

  • Swap Spots are local businesses that host a little space for parents to exchange items safely — no coordinating schedules, no sharing your address, no awkward meetups, no stress.
    Just walk in, scan the QR code inside your order, drop your bag on the shelf… done.

    • When you buy or sell using a Swap Spot, you’ll see a QR code in your order screen (in the Little Swaps app → My Orders).
      You’ll use that code to confirm drop-off or pickup.

      ✔ Self-serve
      ✔ No coordinating schedules
      ✔ No sharing addresses
      ✔ Pick up anytime the business is open

  • For Swap Spots we follow a simple, fair, parent-friendly system:

    • Sellers have 3 days to drop off the item

    • Buyers have 3 days to pick it up

    This helps our partner locations stay organized and keeps shelves from overflowing.

    If the item isn’t picked up within 3 days, the sale is still final.

  • Super simple:

    1. Pack your item as you would normally do when shipping. Make sure you include a label can be written.

      Recommended Label Format:

      - Order ID #: 12345

      - Buyer: @mykiddostuff

      - Swap Spot: One Stop

      - ⁠Date: 11/15/25

    2. Go to your Swap Spot.

    3. Find the shelf/bin.

    4. Open the Little Swaps App → My OrdersScan QR to confirm the drop-off.

    5. Leave the item in the bin properly labeled. We’ll notify the buyer it’s ready for pickup. You’ll get paid when buyer picks up or after 3 business days, whichever comes first.

    1. Head to the correct Swap Spot.

    2. Find the shelf/bin with your name or order #.

    3. Open the Little Swaps App → My OrdersScan QR to confirm pickup.

    4. Grab your item + leave a quick review for the Swap Spot (they love the love 💛).

    No staff interaction. No checking IDs. 100% self-serve.

  • Swap Spots are not storage locations, so anything left behind becomes abandoned after 3 days.

    That means:

    • The sale stays final

    • The buyer is still charged

    • The Swap Spot may donate or dispose of the item

    • The item cannot be refunded or retrieved

    This protects sellers (who already fulfilled their part), and keeps our Swap Spots running smoothly for everyone.

    To avoid this, keep an eye on your app notifications and email. We’ll remind you both ways as soon as your item is ready. 💛

  • Not yet, but we’re growing fast.

    Sellers need to turn it on for their listing.
    If you see a Swap Spot in your area (use our map!) but the listing doesn’t offer it, you can message the seller and ask them to activate the option for you.

    Most sellers are happy to, it makes the sale smoother for everyone

  • Yes - Swap Spots were built for parents by parents.
    You’re walking into a real business, during real business hours, with no pressure and no awkwardness. Totally stress-free.

  • Contact us immediately through the app. We'll investigate with the Swap Spot and issue a refund or replacement if needed. Losses are rare but we've got you covered.

  • No, they’re free to use. No shipping fees will be applied.

SAFETY & TRUST

  • Because Little Swaps is parent-to-parent, all sales are final unless something is significantly different from the listing.
    If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described, you can open a dispute and we’ll step in to help.

  • You can open a dispute if:

    • The item is not as described

    • The wrong item was delivered

    • The item arrived with major undisclosed damage or defects

    • The seller shipped the wrong size, brand, or product

    • The item never arrived (shipping only)

    Normal “pre-loved” wear does not qualify unless it was intentionally hidden.

  • Super simple:

    1. Open the Little Swaps App

    2. Go to Account → Order History

    3. Open the order

    4. Tap “Problem with Order?”

    5. Tell us what happened & upload photos (if needed)

    Our support team reviews everything fairly and aims to resolve within a few days.
    We’re parents too - we take trust seriously. 🤍

RETURNS & DISPUTES

  • It depends on the delivery method you choose:

    • If you choose Shipping:
    Your shipping label automatically includes the buyer’s address and the seller’s return address, just like any online purchase.
    This is the only time addresses are exchanged, and it’s done securely through our system and only once the purchase has been completed.

    • If you choose a Meetup:
    No addresses are shared, you coordinate a neutral location directly in the chat.

    • If you choose a Swap Spot:
    No addresses are shared.
    The entire drop-off + pickup is fully self-serve, using QR codes inside the app.

    We built Little Swaps so you stay in control of what you share and with who - always.

  • We use encrypted systems (like every major ecommerce platform) so your payment details, email, and sensitive info stay safe.

    Other users only see:

    • Your username

    • Your general location (city or ZIP code)

    • Your profile photo (optional)

    No one sees your:

    • Phone number

    • Email

    • Home address (unless you choose shipping)

    • Payment details

  • Because USPS/UPS/FedEx require it to deliver the package — same as Amazon, Poshmark, Mercari, or any online marketplace.

    But we keep it extremely secure:

    • You never manually send your address in chat

    • Sellers print labels directly from the app

    • No one gets extra info besides what’s required for shipping

  • Choose:

    • Swap Spots (best — no personal info exchanged)

    • Meetups (cash, no address shared)

    Shipping is the only path that requires addresses, and it behaves exactly like any online store.

    We now offer Bulk Upload: send us your photos and basic info, and our team will create your listings for you.
    Request the upload template to support@littleswaps.com. Once you’re done, return to us, and we will upload for you within 24 hours. Yes that fast!

  • Sharing Little Swaps helps families save big.
    Invite a friend using your personal referral link:

    • They get $10 toward their first purchase

    • You get $10 after their first purchase

    You have 10 invites to share. Find your referral link in your profile. Share with your mom group, PTA, cousin, everyone wins.

  • To keep families safe, you cannot list:

    • Recalled items

    • Broken, unsafe, or heavily damaged items

    • Car seats older than manufacturer guidelines

    • Food, liquids, or personal care items

    • Anything with missing essential parts

    • Counterfeit or fast-fashion knockoffs

    • Items that do not meet basic safety/cleanliness standards

    If it’s unsafe, expired, or unusable… it’s a no.
