How Offers Work on Little Swaps
Simple, Fair, 48-Hour Expiration
Sometimes you see something you love, but you want to ask for a better price so we built Offers to make that easier, fair, and parent-friendly.
Here’s exactly how Offers work on Little Swaps. 👇
1. Make an Offer
On any item that allows offers, tap Make an Offer and enter the price you’d like.
Your offer is sent instantly to the seller through in-app chat.
2. The Seller Accepts or Declines
The seller can:
Accept
Decline
Counteroffer
You’ll get a notification either way.
3. Accepted Offers Expire After 48 Hours
If the seller accepts your offer, you have 48 hours to complete the purchase.
This protects the seller’s time and keeps the marketplace moving.
After 48 hours:
The offer automatically expires
The item becomes available to other buyers again
You’ll need to make a new offer if you’re still interested
4. Important: Offers Are Not Automatic Purchases
When a seller accepts your offer, the system does NOT auto-charge you.
You must:
Go back to the item
Tap Buy Now
Complete checkout before the 48-hour window closes
If you don’t check out in time, the offer expires and the seller is free to sell it to someone else.
5. Sellers Can Still Sell to Others if the Offer Expires
If the buyer doesn’t complete the purchase, the seller can:
Accept a new offer
Sell to another buyer
Or keep the item posted
Everything stays fair and transparent.
