Stories of Builders: Inside DelcoKids’ Little Shop
There’s something very special happening inside Little Swaps.
One of our early supporters just listed over 2,000 pieces on Little Swaps - but this didn’t happen overnight.
Meet Sarah, a mama of four behind Delco Kids Clothing.
Based in Philadelphia, she helps families give their items a second life across the country.
This started years ago, when she built her shop on Kidizen.
And when it abruptly closed in 2024, like so many moms, she lost what she had built there overnight.
But she didn’t stop.
She did what moms do.
She figured it out.
She adapted, rebuilt, and kept going while raising her kids and managing everything life throws at you.
She reorganized.
She relisted.
She kept going.
And today, she has over 2,000 pieces live on Little Swaps.
Sarah - we are so grateful for you 🤍
For your consistency, your trust, and for building something so beautiful inside Little Swaps.
That’s the mom we’re building for.
Little Swaps isn’t just a marketplace.
It’s infrastructure for something that already exists:
Moms who are resourceful, resilient, and constantly passing things on.
We’re just making it easier.
Safer.
More structured.
Still early - but moments like this remind us we’re building the right thing.
🤍 Why this matters
There’s a story behind every item on Little Swaps.
The first outfit they wore home.
The shoes they learned to walk in.
The toys they reached for every single day.
Letting go of these things isn’t always easy.
But passing them on, knowing they’ll be loved again, it changes everything.
That’s what DelcoKids has created, and today, we want to honor that.
By listing her items, she’s giving other moms access to pieces that still have so much life left.
